During a consultation, the doctor will take your full medical history and explain the following:
- Details of your illness or problem.
- The full examination.
- The treatment given.
- When to come back for review if necessary.
- You should have your blood pressure and urine checked for diabetes at least once every six months.
- Female patients of childbearing age should have an annual PAP smear and breast examination.
- Male patients above the age of 45 years should do an annual blood test for prostate cancer (PSA).
If you are not satisfied with the consultation, please contact the Sister-in Charge, Practice Manager or the doctor on duty.
